About BrightLife

BrightLife was born out of our work developing the BOOTSTRAP Yoga Stress-management System for the U.S. Military—a program that has helped over 6,000 U.S. service members and veterans heal from PTSD and other horrors of war.

Since that time, nearly two decades ago, we've been passionately dedicated to helping people develop the critical skills needed to create lives of meaning, health, and happiness from the inside out.

Our programs meld the latest in cognitive neuroscience with customized evidence-based techniques from yoga and mindfulness to address a variety of conditions from post-traumatic stress to chronic pain to addiction.

Our addiction programs are designed to fill the gaps left by traditional treatment that are causing millions to struggle needlessly with cravings, impulse control, and addictions of every kind.

Pre-addiction Assistance

Millions upon millions struggle with cravings, impulses, and unhealthy behaviors on a daily basis. While not yet formally addicted (or ready for traditional treatment), their diminished self-control in the face of damaging behaviors leaves them at risk for a range of debilitating conditions from health challenges to life-crisis and, of course, full-blown addiction.

The BrightLife process is designed to help people develop greater skills of self mastery. Recognizing unhealthy patterns, diminish disturbing cravings and emotions, and developing critical habits of self-care are just a few of ways BrightLife helps to chart a course toward greater health and happiness.

Post-treatment Stabilization

It's a well-known fact: relapse rates are off the charts for individuals completing treatment with up to 60% relapsing within weeks of completing treatment according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (other sources estimate the numbers to be much higher).

This all points to a problem: too many people are simply leaving treatment without the skills they need to stay on the path to the happy, healthy lives they deserve.

The BrightLife program delivers a clarified roadmap to greater self control, helping people to develop a laser focus in on the key areas proven to calm the mind, soothe the nervous system, and lead to greater ease and control in every area of life.

In addition to consumer programs, BrightLife provides professional-level trainings for therapists, social workers, meditation and yoga teachers, and others.
